What this site is
Steam Wishlist Ranker is a free tool that sorts your Steam wishlist into "what to buy next" order. You compare games and pick the one you want more, and a ranking takes shape. You can then apply that order directly to your Steam wishlist.
Why I made it
I kept adding games I was curious about, and one day my wishlist had passed 270. Every sale I'd scroll through it, everything looked tempting, and I still couldn't decide what to buy. Steam lets you reorder your wishlist by hand, but dragging 270 games around one by one wasn't realistic.
So I set out to build something where the order emerges naturally as you choose, without comparing every game against every other. Tapping favorites, picking from groups of 4, and running 1-on-1s only for the top games narrows things down in stages, so even hundreds of games take just a few minutes. The thinking behind it is in the article How the ranking works.
Principles
- No sign-up, no login: it runs on Steam's public information only.
- No data collection: your ranking lives only in your browser, never on the operator's servers.
- Useful on Steam itself: instead of a ranking you look at once, the order and categories go into your actual Steam wishlist, ready for the next sale.
